From The President's Desk

Hello Everyone,

I can’t believe how fast January came and went even though there were five weekends in the month. It’s already February and I just don’t know where the time went. I hope you’re all staying warm and snug. It’s been so cold outside. I don’t really mind the snow, but I hate the drizzle.

Recession Proof Your Career. That’s the topic we will be listening to and discussing this month at our February chapter meeting. We will learn strategies that will help us stay motivated and productive on the job. And also ways of improving our marketability for ongoing career success. Hope to see you there.

"The Power of Commitment-Get Connected" at the 2010 MN-ND-SD Division Annual Meeting May 21-23, 2010

STUDENT CONFERENCE REGISTRATION-MARCH 26, 2010

The MN-ND-SD Division is pleased to support the 20th Annual Conference for Future and Current Administrative Professionals (ACFCAP)! Although commonly referred to as the "student conference", the sessions offer pertinent education for all admins; see the attached documents for more details, and mark Friday, March, 26, on your calendar now.

Students and instructors from admin programs throughout the entire division have been invited to attend; and all Division members and colleagues are encouraged to be part of this exciting day!

Kudos to Delaine Iverson CPS/CAP, Yvonne Arendt CPS/CAP, and Kaye Park CAP of the Division Student Outreach Committee for their continued dedication to making this annual event happen. It is a great way to help reach the goals in our division strategic plan: increasing a diversifed membership of career-minded professionals at every stage of their career; and enhancing members' skill sets by providing opportunities for member growth through education and leadership development, while making connections with our future colleagues and members.
